In the two-day seminar, two experts from the FEF gave the various users, such as designers, product managers, project managers or application engineers, an outline of the following topics on joining technology in automotive applications:
- Fundamentals of joining technology
- Material-locking joining processes in automotive engineering: welding, brazing and adhesive bonding
- Materials in joining technology
- Quality assurance and testing
- Applications and examples of the joining technology used in practice
- Economic efficiency of joining processes
During the seminar the FEF experts were able to answer unresolved and emerging issues of the participants and to establish contact possibilities for further challenges in the everyday practice of the participants.
Seminar lecturer Dipl.-Ing. Guido Buchholz was pleased about the lively participation and technical discussions with the seminar participants:
"Our seminar is aimed at a broad group of interested parties, ranging from automobile manufacturers and suppliers to service providers as the composition of our group of participants shows. The discussions that developed in the seminar ambience were just as diverse and productive."
The seminar takes place nationwide in regular intervals and the next seminar dates are already planned and scheduled. On February 21-22, 2018, the seminar will take place in the Novotel Cologne City.
